We find house mates for you. All of our leases are month to month and each housemate has a separate lease. Therefore, others moving out does not leave you to pay for unused space. Because the houses are shared, rents and utilities are also very low. The living rooms, dining rooms and laundries are furnished. All personal areas are rented unfurnished. All spaces have private full bathrooms. Each resident must post a $250 deposit and $35 application fee. Substantial additional deposits and fees are required for pets. Note that pets are not allowed to roam the common spaces. When moving out, 30 days notice is required. To maintain order and provide a comfortable environment for our renters and neighbors, we have a set of standard house rules. If you have any questions about rates, availability, or the houses, please contact us: Chris Chris@aboost.org 770-294-7249 Caleb Caleb@aboost.org 678-698-9757 Additional information can be found at the how to rent page. About Us and Our Houses Chris purchased the first house in 2002 when his kids were in college because of frustration in finding suitable housing for them. We rented the additional rooms to their friends. The system worked out so well that he purchased additional homes. As of mid 2010 we have had over 40 residents who stayed an average of 13.5 months each. We consider this a compliment since every lease is month to month. Caleb, Chris's son, joined him in early summer 2010 and now handles much of the work. We purchased 2 more homes in summer 2010 and are looking to purchase a few more while the market is favorable. So why do we have the odd names for the houses? Grady and Lois Vining, and Bertha Harris, Chris's grandparents and Cheryl’s parents, John and Josephine Richey, were an inspiration to us, so we named the houses after them.
